Besprechung

Crying children...Everyone has those moments when you just do not want to be surrounded by them. Especially holidays are seen as a time to relax and revive. For some people children and holiday pleasure cannot be combined, they prefer a holiday without children. This book will deal with childless holidays, holidays where children do not take part in. What are the wishes of customers and what are the underlying reasons to choose this type of holiday? A sociological study was conducted to find out about this. To clarify more of this upcoming phenomenon changes in society regarding children and upbringing are also described. Next to the consumer and sociological side the supply side is also researched, what do suppliers of the tourism industry have to offer to childless holidaymakers and how do they promote childless holidays? By examining the different sides a clear picture of the situation around childless holidays arises.
