Biografische Anmerkung zu den Verfassern

Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Walter Freyer ist seit 1993 Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Tourismuswirtschaft an der TU Dresden und war vorher als Professor an der FH Heilbronn tätig. Praktische Erfahrungen im Tourismus erwarb er als Geschäftsführer eines Reisebüros und-veranstalters in Berlin und Hamburg sowie als Marketingberater für mehrere Tourismus-Destinationen. Er ist Gründungspräsident der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Tourismuswissenschaft (DGT) und Verfasser zahlreicher touristischer Fachpublikationen.
